- Pok�ball to Master Ball
This one's tricky, but once you get the hang of it, it works like a charm. Throw any type of ball (Pok�ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball). As soon as its about halfway between you and the enemy Pok�mon, hit Up + B at the exact same time and press hard. Hold it down and the ball will work like a Master Ball!
- Safari Ball Trick
I've tested this one (actually, I discovered this ^.^), and as far as I know, it only works on Safari Balls. Find a Pok�mon. You can feed it if you want; it helps sometimes. Choose Safari Ball, and as soon as you release A, slam down on B and press hard. Hold it down and the Pok�mon should remain in the ball. (This is the only way I've discovered that's guaranteed to catch Scyther [Red Version].)
- Hidden Potion
In Viridian Forest, near the exit, there's a guy who says he's looking for something he dropped. He must be blind, because if you look directly in front of him and press A, you'll find the Potion he dropped.
